GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF PAPER WRITING:
- Papers should be submitted exclusively through the congress website's online abstract submission system; submissions via email or mail/cargo will not be considered.
- Papers for the congress can be in Turkish or English. Accepted papers will be presented orally or as posters. Regardless of language, papers should be meticulously prepared for grammar, intelligibility, and spelling. Papers not addressing these issues or not implementing suggested corrections will not be accepted.
- Abstracts will undergo evaluation by the congress scientific board and at least two referees; acceptance will be determined by the Scientific Board.
- For accepted abstracts, the presenting author must be registered for the congress.
- Each author can register for the congress with a maximum of two papers.
- The presenting author's name should be underlined, and registration is mandatory.
- Other authors mentioned in the papers should have their institution information and email addresses presented under the paper title.
- The deadline for abstract submission is April 7, 2024, at 23:59:59.
- There are no subject limitations for papers; all health-related topics will be considered.
- Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection via email. Regularly checking emails and spam folders is recommended.
- Orally accepted papers will have a presentation period of 15 minutes, including 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.
STRUCTURE OF RESEARCH ABSTRACTS:
- Abstracts will be prepared in Turkish or English.
- Abstracts should be a maximum of 250 words (excluding title, author names, institutional information, and keywords).
- Abbreviations should be avoided in abstracts.
- Tables, figures, and sources should not be included in abstracts.
- The entire text should be in 1.5 line spacing, 12 pt, Times New Roman. No spaces before or after paragraphs, and no indentation in the text.
- Abstracts should include: Introduction, Purpose, Method, Findings, Discussion and Conclusion, Keywords (max 5 words, each with an initial capital, separated by commas).
STRUCTURE OF REVIEW ARTICLES:
- The full text should be in Times New Roman font, 12 pt, and 1.5 line spacing, without spaces before or after paragraphs.
- No indentation in the text, and the text should be justified.
- Titles (Introduction, Purpose, Method, Findings, Conclusion) should not be used in the abstract of reviews.
- Keywords should be added at the end of compilations.
- Keywords: First letter capitalized, a maximum of 5 words, separated by commas.
- Full-text submissions for review studies should be a maximum of five (5) pages.
- Authors are responsible for spelling and meaning errors.
STRUCTURE OF POSTER PRESENTATION
- Poster presentations can be conducted in Turkish or English.
- Poster dimensions should be prepared with a maximum size of 70 cm (width) x 100 cm (height).
- Necessary materials for hanging the posters will be provided at the congress center.
- All posters will be displayed on boards on the first day of the congress and will remain there throughout the event.
- The presenter of the poster must be registered for the congress.
- Leave a margin of 2 cm on the top, bottom, left, and right edges of the paper.
- Each poster should have the title of the poster, the names of the authors, and the names of the institutions they work for at the top.
- The corresponding author should be indicated with an underline.
- Poster text should be easily readable from a distance of 1 meter.
- The poster title will be written in 48-point Arial font and in bold (avoid exceeding two lines for the poster title).
- Author name(s) will be written in 28-point Arial font and in bold.
- Author address(es) and emails will be written in 28-point Arial font.
- The text will be presented in two columns.
- Text headings will be written in 24-point Arial font and in bold.
- The text will be written in 24-point Arial font.
- Posters should consist of an abstract and three sections (Introduction and Objective, Scope and Method, Findings and Conclusion), and at the end, references should be listed in index format with smaller characters.
- There are no color restrictions in preparing posters; however, emphasis should be given to the use of visually enhancing colored shapes and photographs. Characters in figures should be of an appropriate size for easy readability, and the same characters should be preferred in all figures. Figures should be presented in sizes that are easily visible from a distance.
