Dear Participants,

We are delighted to invite you to the 2nd International Student Congress of Near East University Faculty of Medicine, which will take place on April 25-27, 2024, focusing on "Migration and Health from the Student Perspective" Hosted on our beautiful island by students from various countries, we hope this event will serve as a unique platform for in-depth exploration of migration and health.

Migration is not merely a geographical shift from one point to another on the map; it is a phenomenon that leaves profound cultural, social, and health impacts. This congress will address the increasing global migration and its direct and indirect effects on health.

Migration significantly influences the dynamics of a society and its healthcare system. This congress aims to bring together academics, researchers, healthcare professionals, and future physicians who seek to understand the direct and indirect effects of migration on human health. It will foster knowledge sharing, shape future health policies, discuss current issues related to migrants' access to healthcare, propose solutions based on existing research, and contribute to the overall knowledge in this field.

We invite you, esteemed participants, not only to share knowledge but also to share your own migration stories and perspectives, forge new friendships, and explore the unique culture of Cyprus. This congress will not only facilitate interaction with experts in health and migration but also provide an opportunity for interdisciplinary collaboration, sparking creative ideas.

We look forward to welcoming you to this comprehensive congress on migration and health.

Best regards,
